It is the setting of the famous novel The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann, which deals with this ski resort as a primary treatment area for people suffering from this disease. Its rejuvenating environment is well-known all over the world and for the past 150 years it has been visited by people for this purpose. It is also famous for its galleries, museums and music festivals.
Davos is home to the Hockey Club Davos who have won 30 championship titles. Those who love skating will find this resort’s natural ice rinks to be exciting and absolutely. It hosts the Parsenn Derby, which is Switzerland’s most traditional ski race.
